Our KYC & AML Policies

Commitment to Compliance, Anti-Money Laundering (AML), and Counter-Terrorist Financing (CTF)

Policy Overview & Objective

AGlobalMarkets is committed to the highest standards of compliance against money laundering (AML) and anti-terrorist financing (CTF). The objective of the Company's Policy against Money Laundering and Terrorism Financing is to actively prevent the risks of these matters.

To help the government combat the financing of terrorism and money laundering activities, the law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens an account. We have an obligation to report suspicious client activity relevant to money laundering.

Money Laundering Definition: The process of converting funds received from illegal activities (such as fraud, corruption, terrorism, etc.) into other funds or investments that appear legitimate to hide or distort the actual source of funds.

Stages of Money Laundering

The money laundering process can typically be divided into three sequential stages:

1. Placement

Any withdrawal of funds from your AGlobalMarkets account to a bank account can only be refunded to the same bank account that the funds were originally received from or any other bank account registered under the client's individual name.

Note: The processing time of withdrawals substantially depends on the currency of the bank account, as well as the location and internal policies of the recipient’s financial institution. Please expect amounts withdrawn to be credited within 2 to 7 business days.

2. Layering

The funds are transferred or moved to other accounts and financial instruments to disguise their origin and break the audit trail of the entity that performed the transactions. Moving funds and changing their form makes it difficult to trace laundered money.

3. Integration

The funds are re-circulated as legitimate assets to purchase goods and services. AGlobalMarkets strictly adheres to the principles of Anti-Money Laundering and actively prevents any action that targets or facilitates the legalization of illegally obtained funds. The AML policy guarantees that the company's services will not be abused for criminal, money laundering, or terrorist financing purposes.

Company Procedures & Cash Restrictions

To prevent money laundering, AGlobalMarkets does not accept or pay in cash under any circumstances. The company reserves the right to suspend the operation of any client which may be considered illegal or, in the opinion of the staff, related to money laundering.

AGlobalMarkets verifies that every client is a real, bona fide legal or natural person, and performs all necessary measures in accordance with applicable laws and regulations issued by monetary authorities.

Our comprehensive AML policy is implemented across all operations through:

  • Know Your Customer (KYC) policy and robust due diligence
  • Continuous monitoring of customer account activity
  • Strict registry maintenance and record-keeping

Know Your Customer (KYC) Verification

Due to our strict commitment to AML and KYC standards, each customer must successfully complete a verification procedure before AGlobalMarkets initiates any cooperation. The company ensures that satisfactory evidence is presented to establish proof of identity.

The company applies enhanced scrutiny to clients who are residents of countries identified by credible sources as having inadequate AML standards or posing high crime and corruption risks, as well as beneficial owners residing in or sourcing funds from such jurisdictions.

Individual Clients

During the registration process, each client must provide verified personal information: Full Name, Date of Birth, Country of Origin, and Full Residential Address.

The following documents are required for verification:

  • Valid Passport: Showing the first page of local or international passport with photo and signature clearly visible; OR
  • Driving License: Valid government-issued license with photograph; OR
  • National Identity Card: High-resolution copy showing both front and back.
  • Proof of Residence: Utility bill, bank statement, or official letter showing the customer's Full Name and permanent place of residence (must not be older than 3 months from filing date).

* In case documents are in non-Latin characters, a notarized translation in English must be provided to avoid verification delays.

Corporate Clients

If the applicant is listed on a recognized stock exchange or independent evidence confirms it is a wholly owned subsidiary of such an entity, simplified measures may apply. If unlisted and directors or shareholders do not already hold an account with AGlobalMarkets, the following documents must be supplied:

  • Certificate of Incorporation (or national equivalent).
  • Memorandum and Articles of Association and statutory declaration (or national equivalent).
  • Certificate of Good Standing or other official proof of the company's registered address.
  • Resolution of the Board of Directors authorizing the account opening and granting authority to authorized operators.
  • Copies of Powers of Attorney or delegations of authority granted by directors.
  • Proof of identity of all directors acting on behalf of the client (as per individual verification rules).
  • Proof of identity of ultimate beneficial owner(s) (UBO) and individuals authorized to instruct account signers.

Tracking Customer Activity & Registry Maintenance

Tracking Customer Activity

In addition to collecting identification data, AGlobalMarkets continuously monitors customer activity to identify and prevent suspicious transactions. A suspicious transaction is one inconsistent with the client's legitimate business or normal transaction profile.

We employ automated and manual transaction monitoring systems to detect anomalies and prevent unauthorized or illicit usage of our platform.

Registry & Record Maintenance

Records are maintained for all transaction data, customer identification files, and any documentation regarding AML inquiries (e.g., suspicious activity reporting files, AML monitoring logs). All records are securely stored for a minimum of 7 years after an account is closed.

Measures Taken & Account Suspension

If transactions suspected of being related to money laundering or criminal activity are detected, AGlobalMarkets will proceed in accordance with applicable laws and report the activity to competent regulatory authorities.

AGlobalMarkets reserves the absolute right to suspend operations, temporarily block accounts, or terminate business relationships with any client whose transactions appear unlawful or contrary to our AML policy.
